Last week, the 12th of March, I went to my Mother's best friend's wedding.? It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.? The bride and groom looked so wonderful together as they walked down the 'majestic' carpet after the wedding into their new car and went for a spin to celebrate.? When the couple came back, everyone cheered them.? It was quite fun.? Then the wedding ceremony finished.?
After the ceremony, everyone went to a pre-booked restaurant to eat dinner and celebrate the wedding.? After we had eaten, people talked, laughed, told jokes...the adult men even had a political discussion, ha ha!? So typical of them.
Then, people stood up one by one and spoke openly about their feelings towards the newly married couple.? And then everyone clapped.? The bride and groom were really touched by the words that were spoken to them by their friends and family.? The groom even ended up crying.? This was a very emotional time for them...and even for me, because I had to fight to keep myself from crying.?
Then the adults children came forward to the bride and groom and gave them brightly covered presents and flowers.? Then, there was a prayer.? When it was finished, a huge, beautifully coloured, chocolate cake was brought forward.? Spirits went mysteriously up at the sight!
To be completely honest, it was the best wedding I've ever been to.? You know, I'd like my own wedding to be like the one.? I've just explained when I grow up.? Yeah!
